Overview
Silvertust Communications has positioned itself in the independent broadcast production field as a special project, series and syndication player. We are one of the most innovative specialty broadcast production companies in Canada. Our production services include radio, television and internet programs, commercials (adverts) and public service announcements (PSAs). These aspects are a core part of our corporate vision. We are involved with project development, production, post-production and distribution.
Development
Broadcast project development is an area where Silvertrust Communications has a competitive edge. While we produce a variety of radio, television and internet programs, our focus in on human interest projects. We undertake our own projects as well as client iniatitives. This might be done as exclusive productions for clients or co-productions. Our wide range of experiences and resource networks make us an exceedingly appealing choice for individuals, organizations, government departments and corporations that are considering radio, television or internet programs, adverts or PSAs. We transform ideas to treatments, scripts, storyboards and screenplays.
Production
Silvertrust has experienced production executives and technical crews, ranging from producers and production managers to directors of photography and sound engineers. Our camera operators have many years of experience. Our production assistants have served on various projects as producers, lighting technicians and audio specialists. Silvertrust productions include low budget, but professional current affairs programs, documentaries and dramas. We have back-up sets of equipment to guarantee our service delivery. Our sound recording gear deliver high qulity productions. Our cameras are capable of working in low lighting conditions. We often use two or more video cameras to capture diverse cinematic perspectives simultaneously.
Editing
At Silvertrust Communications, we use professional Avid Express and Media 100 digital television workstations for editing virtually all of our videos. We also use Sound Forge and Cool Edit Pro for our audio projects. We add the best of soundtracks, special effects, electronic titles and we have the option of addingÊnew and old photographs digitized to maximize the value of our broadcast videos.ÊWe have a large royalty-free music library withÊtracks from oldies to new popular music, and from diverse WesternÊto World music to take care of our soundtrack needs. We edit projects produced by our studio and we gladly accept editing of projects brought to us by clients. Silvertrust projects areÊmastered on professional media, which are kept in our airconditioned environment to last for ages!
Ditribution
Our programs are distributed through a variety of channels. We produce special feature radio and television programs for specific broadcasters to carry. We also produce such programs for syndication to numerous broadcasters, as well as for webcast on the internet. Silvertrust Communications is also involved with the production of radio and television series. Currently, we are in an advanced stage of the development of two syndicated radio programs and one television series. The radio projects include a cultural heritage radio program and an urban entertainment radio show. Our television program is designed for broadcast on CFMT Television in Canada, and on the Multichoice cable system in Africa. We also have other projects on the drawing board.
